Yes I agree beautiful car. Seeing customs in bare metal is awesome and gives it a differnet perspective, like Cole Foster on Hammet's 36 3-window Ford. That black paint brings it all together. Again here, with a dark color it will take this custom to new heights. I love that front grille treatment, seems baulky, but with paint, again it will be that much better. That dip for the fadeway 1/4, IMHO, won't work, I think it will clash with that awesome tailight treatment. Right now it flows perfectly. Thanks for sharing.

I gave it a go to see what the dipped fadeaways would look like. It was just a thought. Would be exceedingly difficult to do. Hell, the car looks pretty good just the way it sits. Here's what it'd look like dipped, though. I don't know?

I think if you were to do a dip, it should be a real subtle one right at the very end - more like so...

HOLY **** that thing is cool!!!! it's cool just the way you've got it already but, as most of us do, i started thinking to myself what i would have done differently if it where mine. i thought to myself i would'nt have done the 49 Caddy quarters but THEN i see the photoshop with the fade aways and it was PERFECT!!! it made the Caddy quarters look so RIGHT (at least to me). i normaly realy do not like fade aways either. it's a rare car that i like fade aways on but i have to say this car, as cool as it already is, would be the absolute **** with the fadeaways. and for what it's worth i prefer the subtle dip to the more drastic one but it realy does'nt need it at all.

anyway you slice it that is one sweet automobile your building there.

You know what, I stand corrected. Cleatus, that is awesome! The only thing that would disrupt that line, I think, would be the bletline trim. Again, it's hard to say. I think without the trim it will work. But I do like that dip/indent. No matter what this custom will rock!

At Jim's request I dropped the fade away line a bit towards the rear fender... and added appleton spots and Sombrero hubcaps.

This iteration is approaching sublime. Westergard, Bertolucci, the Ayala bros and Sam Barris are calling the Pisano bros and George Cerny over to look at this. The boys in Custom Heaven are nodding in approval. This is SO in the spirit of the greats. You have flat out NAILED it, man.
