    I hear ya...but I could live with the battery more so than the expansion tank. Did it get any fluid it it when you thought it may be running hot? If it turns out to be a necessary evil, I'd replace the plastic with a metal one painted black..wouldn't be that noticeable. Great looking car all around...congrats!

    There's just a little coolant in the plastic tank, could mount it nicely and paint it, will make a bracket for the battery for now

    I have one of these overflows.. it tucks in nicely next to the radiator.

    Mine's similar to the pic posted, but short and stubby. Painted black, it would blend right in. Also replaced my ps reservoir with a similar unit. power steering 002.JPG

    Wondering whether to pick the "ford" on the hubcaps out in red and/or paint the wheel red too, would only see a small part between the outer rim and the hubcap
    Still working in the vin decoder, not going too well!!
