I'm a Vermonter, I am new to the world of modifying cars, but I have been working on old bikes since I have had a drivers license. My first car project is going to be my 62 Chrysler Newport 2 door hardtop. There isn't a whole lot I am going to be able to do this winter to it because it is my daily driver. But that gives me plenty of time to plan and read here. Next summer I will be able to pull it off the road for a couple weeks since I will have my Ironhead back together after its winter rebuild. I am a stern believer in DIY, and if I come to something I don't know how to do then its a good time to learn. I am funding my porjects working as a body piercer, and also working on getting my tattoo license. As of last week I have started to teach myself pinstriping since I would like to have some on my car when its done.
Welcome to the HAMB, my ex had a '62, but now a good friend has it, so if you need some inspiration I can send you a few pics! Good luck with it!
Well I have been doing a lot of reading, collecting a lot of information, I figured I would share some pictures of my car how I got it. Me taking it for a ride I have a lot of big dreams for this car, and I know it is going to be a few years at least before I can get it where I want it due to me not having a lot of time or money, but that's never stopped me before. This winter I am sadly going to have to put it in storage, but I am going to be making many trips to the storage locker to grab pieces off of the car and work on them in the comfort of my apartment living room (sadly the car won't fit in my living room as easily as my 73 Ironhead does) KaddyKimber: I am always looking for inspiration pictures of other 62 Newports, feel free to send me some pictures my email is Vermonter8@gmail.com
