How are the leaves held together in an adjustable quarter elliptical setup? Just a center bolt? I never see u-bolts holding the springpack together.....What are your thoughts on this kind of setup?

  2. Usually a center bolt and spring clamps, plus the spring pack is sandwiched with either Ubolts or or a captive mount.

I've seen a set-up that used a piece of 1/4" thick c-channel about 3 inches long with 2 center bolts through it and the springpack...basically sandwiching the springpack to the frame and the sides of the c-channel keep the sides from shifting...

Held together by a single bolt toward the front with a SS spring clamp about 1/2 way toward the back. Works great.
