Last weekend I saw my friends '46 Ford for the first time since he has finished it (for the third time since I have known him). He made his air cleaner cover out of fiberglass and some extra inner fender covers. Take a look. . .

I laughed when he told me "I'm not much into detail. I'm more for covering things up." He and I go back and forth because he is very artistic (as you can see), but he still hasn't built a battery tie-down, and I've known him 12 years. It' in the trunk, so he uses a block of wood and a bungie. What's up with that?

I'm betting the guys that loved the "patinized" F-1 will hate this and the guys that hated the F-1 will love this. I personally love the workmanship but I want people to see my carbs. Don't take offense. like I said beautiful work.

It's not a matter of not understanding ASSHOLE.......it's just that this is a forum for "Traditional Rods & Kustoms" Obviously, YOU don't understand this?? I like the craftsmanship, but it isn't what this place is all about. If you can't understand and respect that, play somewhere else......... [IMG]

dont sweat it man , just dont " take sides " like that . Not the best way to make friends or even a point [IMG] Honestly I like pretty much every aspect of what you could do to a car all the way from turbo supras , 8 second civics , hydro lowriders , minitrucks , street rods ( not much really ) but you get the picture . I can pretty much appriciate any type of craftsmanship , except bad craftsmanship .

Is it an air cleaner or an air cleaner cover? Your right, I wouldn't understand an air cleaner cover...pointless and nonfunctional.
