  1. I teach frame cl*** at a Community college in Rochester Hills Michigan. I have a 1966 Chevrolet pickup I'm attempting to put the front suspension brakes etc. on it from a 70s Chevy van. I could use some help as to if they will fit together. I am going to work today with a friend doing the wrenching because I just got a new hip and thinks are not beck to normal yet.

    Welcome aboard. I had no problem bolting up the early 70 stuff to my 65. They make a plate to stiffen the frame if you use a power steering box. Here's another forum to check out for the Cheby trucks. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/index.php
