Hi to all. My name is John and live in SW Ct. The part without all the money. Thats where most of us work. I'm self employed and have 5 Ford trucks. Always had Fords always will. I love trucks. Im in the process of completly rebuilding my 34 BB dump. Chopped and swapped. I look forward to obtaining valuable advise as the direction I'm heading is new to me. I like to think outside the box. Build things that are a little differnt. Alot of my friends are rodders and I hear alot of , that truck would look so cool if !!!!!. Looking forward to your advise and ideas. John
Welcome, from a displaced Nutmegger. FNG stands for "effing new guy" a term that came from the Vietnam war.
Welcome to the HAMB. Lots of knowledge here, it has more that it's share of characters as well and that is what makes it great!
Welcome John from the West Coast of Florida. I used to live in Connecticut about 20 years ago but left for warmer weather and sunshine. I used to stop in Monroe for lunch when we were building homes in Easton. Sounds like you really have some neat projects lined up and maybe you could post a few pictures of the trucks. Best of luck. Jimbo
Hello John, I'm from the southeast corner were everyone thinks we work at the casino's or Electric Boat. Too bad the Casino's don't hire americans, only asians and theres no long term employment at EB anymore. No money in SECT and YOU SEE IT ! Good luck with your truck, if your ever up my way stop by and we'll compare notes. I think jimbo17 and enfieldjoe are the smart two when it comes to this state !
Welcome to the HAMB from Ridgefield! I'm a soon to be 61 year old native, the yuppies arrived in the 1970's, and ran out of money about 6-8 years ago. Too bad, it killed the home repair business. Thanks for the FNG history Brent, proof once again that there is lots to learn here besides Hot Rod stuff.
