Congratulations,Ryan. Ain't it great ??!!! I became a grandfather for the first time May 23rd when my son & daughter in law had a baby girl. She's such a cutie !!! I make up blues/rockabilly songs about her in my head all day long. "She's Erika Geneva and she's my Ray of Sunshine !" Glenn.
Congrats on the new kid! Congrats on the new wagon too! My Ol' Dad likes "late model" wagons like that. Does that make you an old dad also?
Congrats on the new baby boy! Glad everyone is doing good. I bet PJ is just elated with a new baby brother. NOW the real fun begins! Nice looking wagon too. WAY better than some soccer mom mini-van!
Congrats! I thinks is funny you have more pics of the car posted than the boy. That car will be and awesome family hauler.
Bitchin' longroof Ryan! Definately my favorite "fullsize" GM wagon. I've got 3 girls and my daily is a '94 Roadmaster woodie so I can appreciate the virtues of a longroof(they love sitting backwards in the 3rd row). I'm on the hunt for a '64 or '65 midsize GM wagon right now. Congrats on the new baby.
Awesome Ryan, I am glad to see the Misses and your new boy Miller are all doing well. And your new wagon is pretty slick too!!!
Nice! congrats on both additions to the family! Just had another boy myself 6 weeks ago. Miller was even in the running...ended up with Patton. Saw the wagon cruisin back into Dripping Sunday afternoon...looks good going down the road. Funny thing is I saw Joyo driving towards Austin Saturday and you driving Sunday...can't miss the classics! Best of luck on the new ones!
Hey! Cool, Man! Congratulations! I miss my Wagoon.... good lookin kid Ya got there. You're lucky he takes after his Mom.
Congrats! As you saw from mine, they grow up real, real fast. You'll need the wagon just to haul home groceries.
congratz ryan enjoy them at that young age, i have had 3 chances and missed them all, now my 3yr old loves to be a tom boy and im lovin it enjoy it while you can, blink to quick and their off to colledge
Ryan, congratulations. "Little hot rodder" is so true. Hot rodding is one of the few interests that the "old man" can have that the kid always folows him into. Most kids grow up wanting to do what Dad doesn't do, but cars, man, the kid is with you. I read your blog entry and you are so right about Wichita. And I didn't grow up or live there either, so I am completely unbiased. I grew up in Kansas City, which was also a great car town. I knew Wichita first hand when I travelled the Midwest car show circuit airbrushing monster shirts at all of Daryl's and Ray Farhner's shows in the early 60's. Wichita cars just had the attitude, there's no doubt. I even competed my custom model cars against other teenagers like Eldon Titus (Did I win, Eldon?) and Gary Cushenberry (who may or may not have done many rods lately, but definitely left a mark on the scene starting in about '62).
Congrats on the baby. Man we had one Sunday and the hat and blanket are exactly the same. Hospitals all over the country must order from the same place.
First off, congrats on the new addition. Secondly, and more congrats, to finding a wife who understands that station wagons are actually cool. I'm still trying to educate mine...
