I was minding my own business, driving through Dewey Oklahoma last week, when out the corner of my eye, up a side street I spotted a matt black merc sled. I quickly punched the embarrasing hire car and hung a right. I made it all the way around the block without drifting too much on to the other side of the road (we drive on the left lol )....Alright this story is going to take forever. Here's the skinny - I quickly made the aquaintance of the twotallokies and a half dozen other like minded rodders. I had a fantastic day doing what I do best, talking, cruising, eating and pinstriping. I want to thank all involved for making me feel at home. This was what I came to see, real rods, real rodders allive and well in the heartland. To cap off a near perfect day, I saw my favorite band 'Kansas' play live before a backdrop of thunderheads, sunset and lightning, while sipping on a bud over near Ponca City. It don't get much better than that. IN RODS WE TRUST
Sounds like a perfect day in the mind of Rodder! Enjoy the Hamb where you can have a piece of that experience everyday! Life is good in the Hamb, welcome shortfataussie!

Welcome aboard Tony, Thanks for the kind words about Merc. We've had a lot of fun with her. I hated that I had to leave with out the chance to meet ya. I had to go to my daughter's volleyball tournment. The Kats told me all about the day and the more that I heard, the more that I got depressed not getting the chance to meet ya...... Guys gave me one of your kool business cards. very kool Idea. I have another card with your address and I'll be throwing some stuff in the mail to you soon. What size shirt do you wear? Be sure to let me know the next time that you plan on coming over. I can take you to some kool shops full of nostalgia. Happy Trails, Mick
