No man... you are welcomed to your opinion...

That said, if you don't get why cruising down a highway at 80mph in flathead is cool... you just might be on the wrong message board.

I look at it as a model car. As a kid you build one and dream of driving it. I can't imagine blowing 40,000 to 50,000 grand on some piece of shit i have to push on and off a trailer.

The green and white bubble wasn't perfect but it was more interesting to me because it appears to be a driver. There was "soot" in the pipes and chips on the chassis.

The bubble was cool and had a scratch about where you'd hit it with a wedding ring whilst steering. That had to piss a dude off.

The blue bubble top of Starbirds is the straight up dumbest thing I've seen. No way in hell you could drive it if you had to. It would be real confusing considering the yellow lights would be green. :D

I think Denise may have been asking about "Vampyre" It is a bubble top. Purple car, clear top. Actually my favorite of all the bubbles even though it had way more modern wheels/tires then I would have run.

Speaking of driving bubble tops... whatever happened to the Brown Neck Bandito? I have a picture of it on the road between Paso and Bakersfield... That thing was driven hard... He eventually cracked the bubble top, and made it into a Batmobile t-top looking thing, and I don't know what happend to it after that.... anyone?

Hey Jesse, maybe you could get someone to show you what the caps lock button does, try pressing it ONCE, and it will make your posts much easier to read.

I guess you probably type in all caps so we will all understand how hardcore you really are! (insert sarcastic autozone comment here)

And you do know I am kidding!

I agree, it's not only how fast you go, but how you go fast.

Of course it's cool to go 140mph in a car that has a brand new 400hp SBC in it, but going 80mph with an old mill that was never intended to go that fast takes a lot more effort.
Just like it's easy to take a brand new 124 cubic inch S&S engine and put it in a Electraglide and go 140 mph, but try building a Panhead engine, put it in a rigid and then go 120 mph. It takes a lot more effort, and it's a lot cooler!!

  18. I personally prefer to build and drive SHITBOXES,which by the way have never got their fair share of coverage here.....:D
I hate to disagree with anyone:rolleyes: :D ....BUT I beleive nobody here likes anybody elses cars here, as much as they like their  OWN....

Being a South Omaha Turd I like the Shitboxes :D lable way more than that RR term. I'd also have to admit that I like hiboy32's car more than my own. Thats hard for me to say because I usually shy away from the 32 crowd:eek:
Hey where ya learning all the drama boys,ACTING school?
I saw the luner lander at Live Fast last summer and have to say it was quite a nice piece. You have to give it to plowboy, from concept to execution he pulls it off.I also know they all owe Ed Roth the cudos. We walk in big footprints. If I had $.02 that would be it.:)

Amen to that. Flatheads just look better as a whole. You can run a flathead bare bones stock or full our blown and it still looks good. Can't say that about too many engines.

  21. Having done a lot of vacuum forming, I seriously doubt they did it with a bar b que pit. Check your legs and you might find one longer than the other, like it had been pulled.
