That is going to look fantasic!
I have a suggestion - if you're up for it. It will solve the open door clearence problem. Cut the doors above the fadeaways & make them gull wing. I think it wouild look soooo trick with the rest of the car! But then again I'm a *tad* radical & tend to get carried away sometimes...

just noticed your generous offer squablow,,,,i appreciate it, but i think it would actually be easier to fab those pieces from scratch rather than modifying those,,,,i do appreciate it though....

    Jim,

That looks just fantastic. Those Buick fade aways saves so much work for you and the shape is just perfect. Cant wait till you get them in place permanently and get the filler pieces made.

I second that. Been following this since day one and I really appreciate that
you follow the traditional path of customizing on this fabulous car. Keep it up!

  15. That is so Westergard. I am all about fadeaways, they just make a smooth ride stellar.

You got it in spades friend.

Actually the car is in Denmark now... and its now finished. Some more work has been done to it, but there are two other projects that have more priority.

Thanks I can't remember seeing that bit on it. I was thinking that it was like a lot of custom shop owner's personal projects in that it got worked on a bit at a time and then got hid in the corner until there was more extra time or extra money.
