Well Im 21. I was raised right, had a 31 Ford woody in the shop my whole life thanks to my dad. I currently and putting together a 31 of my own with the left over body bits. I love cars, My favorites are old style hotrods of 60's style drag cars. I have a big soft spot for race cars from any era or style. My daily driver is a 98 civic that is slowly and very cheaply getting turned into a bit of a rally car, gotta love living in the country with miles of dirt roads and nice snowy Canadian winter. I cant wait to get my A on the road as my summer car. Sadly Im away at school (Ottawa) most of the time for Mechanical Engineering so she sits all alone allot. I really like this site lots of info and back yard tech stuff which I like a lot. My favorite articles so far are the ones about casting stuff at home and anything to do with ford I beam. Car outline: 31 Model A 4 door - chopped (7 1/4"), front doors chopped out, fire wall widened to match width at the rear doors, channeled (4") GMC 292 inline 6 - plan on getting a custom valve cover cast at a local foundry, then do motor work later after the car is up and running and I have money. Ford I beam with 1/4 elliptical from suspension. 8" Ford rear end not sure about suspension yet. Thinking maybe a 3 link. Frame started as tubes. Fun fact: Ian Johnson from the show Extreme 4X4 was my shop teacher.
