ok, she finally home and tucked into a safe and warm room, heres my new toy that i am going to be working on, i dont think i am going to chop it at this point but who knows for later down the road

I do have a couple of questions though, can any one tell me as to what year this is for sure, i cannot tell them apart except for the 28 and 29's, here is the number that is on the body tag ---- 198 15656 ----- I am also looking for a set of front doors that have not been cut as i am going to probably suicide them but i just want a set with good frames,

I am going to be ordering my body frame pieces through mac unless someone has a good usable body frame that they might want to sell, the lower 6" is also going to be replaced as it is a typical ford thats 80 years old, also looking for a flat 8 in good rebuildable condition - not frozen - but this is going to be a true old school project without the sbc set up

Who would be a good canadate for finding out more info on the original rear ends -- either by book or person -- as i dont know to much about these set ups?

Below is some pics to help ID the year, any and all info will be highly helpful and not forgottin as their are alot of great guys and gals on here that have a wealth of knowledge that could help me[IMG]

It's a 30 or early 31. The number on the body tells us nothing. The VIN is stamped on the frame, driver's side, just in front of the firewall.

If you want a "traditional" build, I think suicide doors are very out of place. But, to each his own.
