Hi guys. I've been checkin in from time to time. Love the site and cool cars/trucks. I currently live in Northern Virginia for the last 6 years.I was born and raised in Long Island,NY. My project/driver is a '63 Chevy pickup (fleetside) that I've had for about 6 years or so. Drove it down here from NY with all my **** when I moved. Right now it's got a Pontiac 215 straight six that I hooked up to an S-10 5 speed ****** and plenty of rust. The past 10 months I've finally had enough time and $ to start giving her the attention she deserves, as time allows. Working on rust repair (I ain't no bodyman but I figger I'll become an expert in ruining her--"If I can't have her, no one will!!"). Plans this winter are to finally install all the suspension parts I've been buyin' the last 2 years (4in drop front/6in drop rear). I hope to finish patching the cab floor (already did the corners,rockers,etc.) and sealing it with my ugly green HOK primer/sealer until the spring. Plans are for either black with yellow/orange/red flame job or copper/orange with beige/ivory thin '60's scallops. We'll see. I know this ain't your typical "old car/truck" you guys have here, but this is my baby. It's been fun.Thanks for listening.
