I have built a model of his 33 willys coupe, im lookin to buy the funny car model, on modelroundup.com, since i seen his willys and the stone woods and cook car i have loved g***ers ever since.

Sent my order in last week.....Don is an acquaintance of mine and I see him and talk a bit every year at the L.A. Roadster Show where he displays his books......hell of a nice guy and owner of a Killer full fendered Deuce 3w Coupe!! So he's a real hot rodder in addition to authoring books that have become *must have* for any serious student of the California hot rod culture....

I suggested to Don that he set up a PayPal account to facilitate more online orders......hope he's done that by now.....

Can't wait to get my copy......a birthday present to myself for November 25th!

did he ever mess that willys up .....? lol i bought the fronts off of it ...and he was talking street rodding it......as for the books.....i built a anglia with a lot of info from his g***er book.....got a altered project with some imput from his altered book.....cool stuff .....got a few more to get.....brandon

 

Anybody ever ask Don about becoming an Alliance Vendor?? Hambers are a captive audience for his books.

Nope, no website.

I wrote to ask the same thing and was told that the order form, PayPal and email is the way to go.

Don will answer any questions via email and autograph the books ordered.

Yeah I agree. Let's help him with marketing. Actually have been doing that since I first saw them.

First time I looked trough them was when I became friends with klazurfer. He shoved them under my nose and said "LOOK HERE DUDE".

I keep spreading that to every "new" hot rod mind I meet.

Man I'm glad we can order on line, those books sell for $90-100 a pop over here in shops! As a consequence I only have the Hot Rod Memories book but man what a book!!
I will be building my collection once I get my **** working!
