Just picked this one up. Been looking for a while and 2 weeks ago I found it. Got it home last night thru the rain and*****. Pictures really don't do it justice, (needs cleaned up) but I took a couple anyway. 29 Sedan, chopped 4",1/2" , channeled 5", filled top with vinyle top, SBC, Pete and Jakes chassis, 9" Ford rear. Interior needs finishing, I plan on a tire change, but other then that, just a few minor changes.
A fellow out of Joplin Mo., don't know if he would like his name posted on the board, so better not! He did a very nice job, the car has approx. 4,000 miles on it since build. Something I'm not use too, because of Mo.'s inspection laws, this thing has all the bells and whistle. Turn signals, heater/defroster, seatbelts. Hell believe it or not, even power windows.
Nice car. Making just a few changes to make it "yours" is great. Drive it and enjoy it while you change a few things instead of buying a car and having to build it before you get to drive it is such an interesting concept!
Very kool!! look forward to seeing it this weekend. I would be all pumped about driving something that kool. Kongrats Happy Trails, Mick
That is one sanitary little hot rod sedan. It looks like a guy could jump right in it and head off across the country without a second thought except to do the usual road trip prep.
that thing is sweet! im pretty pumped, looks like i made room in your shop just in time!!! i dont think either of us could be happier....well, maybe if i had the time and funds to come down to dewey to see it!!!! have fun with it buddy! davey
Slick little tudor! I think the wheel change would be great. What are you planning on? I love spokes on stuff of that vintage myself. Piecrust cheaters would be killer. Congrats on the car. Wish I could see it in dewey. -Adam
he told me he was gonna put a set of 80's model directional spun aluminum wheels with 10x30x15 buckshot mudders and some chrome nekked lady mudflaps on it ! as for paint changes he wants to put some tradtional tribal flames in pink and some barbed wire pinstripe, sounds cool huh?
I was born in 83 so I guess relative to me that's still old school..... Go for it. I could have expected as much from a motorcycle painter.
What the hell, heater, defroster, turn signals, this is unreal. Outstanding man, I can see a tire change and drive it like you stole it. Congrats to the builder and a big CONGRATS to you for pickin this dandy up. I luckin fove it, very cool. ~sololobo~
Just got back from working over the other side of the island, and i get PM about new car. Chris, you really dont need another cool car, so best you throw it in a container, and float it down to me. Ill take good care of it, and ill remove the mudder tires and chrome naked lady mudflaps, plus the pink paint. Ha ha. Nice car my friend, im sure your'll have great fun in it.
