New England Dragway this weekend

Just wondering if anyone is going to the Northeast Nostalgia Cl***ic event at the New England Dragway in Epping New Hampshire this weekend??

It's on Sunday the 27th. Time is from 8-5. That's spectators, they let racers in earlier. It's always a good time.

 

I'll be there but (unfortunately) spectating.

 

Might add that there are three nostalgia drag events at New England Dragway. The May 27th , as mentioned in this thread, one on July 29th by the Orientals Car Club which is the New England Hot Rod Hall of Fame inductions also and one on August 26 by the M*** Street Rodders.

 

We're not going to have the coupe. We will be there with the pickup with a for sale sign on it. If you see us please stop and say hi.

We are going up there on June 16th.

What's going on that day? Other than the Alcohol funny cars that we are coming up there with?

The Down-East gang always draws a good crowd of participants. Last two years have been worth the trip for certain.

 

I am tossing it around my co-pilot bailed and idk if i can race the coupe. If ya see me say hello

 

Just to let everyone know we have an awesome nostalgia series here in Maine at Winterport Dragway. 1/8 mile, great track, very nice people, camping and good food. It is called G***ah Guys. Try it out! It is usually 5-6 times during the racing season.

 

Doesn't look like I can make it this weekend but I plan to make it to the July or August events. Hope to see you there.

GREAT! I will be in M***achusetts on the 25th of August for my youngest son's wedding so it looks I will be able to attend if I'm not too hung over
Hoping to have the Safari ready for the trip.Don't think I'll compete though;you need an hourgl*** to time that one through the quarter.

We are selling our truck because we never use it. We tour the country with the coupe and the S&S team. The truck has been done for about 4 years and it has maybe 200 miles on it. Plus we're in the middle or restoring another coupe. It's a really nice truck.

 

Im not gonna make it up this weekend but def shooting for July

 

Hopefully we will be there for all of them. It's going to be great weather on Sunday.

I'll be there tomorrow. I'm planning to shoot a short do***entary of the whole event. I want to capture the 'magic' of nostalgia drag racing. I'm looking for anyone who wouldn't mind having a conversation on camera!
