New Feature: Primary vs. Secondary Social Forums

So one of the new features of Social Forums is both Primary and Secondary Social Forums. What the hell are these? Well, a user can chose one primary social forum and as many secondary forums as they would like. To chose yours, simple go to the profile icon on the above right and click on "Personal Details," like so:



From there, just scroll down to the Social Forum section and chose your single primary forum and as many secondary forums as you would like:



Easy, right?

But what in the hell does it mean to have a primary and secondary User Forum? At the moment, not a lot... It's a feature we are working on for the future. However, it does control one thing at this point:

Note that when a user posts on a thread (any thread on the H.A.M.B.), their social forum membership is show by way of avatars listed right under their username. Here's an example:



As it stands right now, your "primary" social forum will always display here and your secondary forums will rotate in and out randomly... And that's it. But, stay tuned...

 

No... you don't even have to mess with this social forum business at all if you don't want too...
