  2. I think a lot of the people that are still running 800x600 are only doing so because they don't know how to change it.

Maybe just put up some REALLY SIMPLE instructions on how to change the resolution and maybe if they complain that they can't read the text (because they're old blind bastards), put instructions on how to increase the font size.

We have the technology. We can rebuild them. :)

I too have the proper resolution. If the guys with windows upgrade to the Beta 7 version they will have a zoom unzoom in the lower right corner of their screen which helps us old farts see the little things. Gumpa

I got the whole line... and yeah, easy to switch screen size in properties... might have to give a step by step "tech" post on how to do so when the time comes.

How many of that 17 % have any clue thet there is anything better? I'm in the 83% and sure didn't know.

I always use the 10% factor for everything 10% of the world are assholes...10% will always be screw ups or fight anything they don't understand. Some will understand and still fight change. So now you are down to 7% Of that 7% how many would be so annoyed that they would leave if they suddenly had to scroll their screen?

It's very possible that a good percentage of the 17% would thank you for the nudge. In stead of ruining their experience you may help them have a better one.

I don't know what percentage you think is necessary but 17% is pretty tiny if the other 83% would like it better. Don't try to please everybody. It can't be done. JMHO

I changed the resolution so that should be OK. I'm good to 1280X1024.

  25. Money Poobah (even on my cheesy 17" at home), and I love you too, I'm just not IN love with you. :D

I'm sure you had a twinge of regret once you hit the enter key on that one.

I'm good with the arrows... but I am wondering if its going to take longer to load the page if its bigger? I have a good high speed internet but it seems the HAMB takes a long time to load a page any where from 10-20 seconds not always but most of the time. Its only when I am on the Hamb that it takes time to load. Nowhere else...Lucky
