Hey guys. I figured I'd just throw a quick intro of myself on here. My name's Adam but my friends call me zeek, and I'm from Cleveland, Ohio. I'm graduating from ohio state in march and then I'll be moving up to michigan to work for Ford as a welding engineer. I've been working on cars and motorcycles for about the past 10 years or so. My dad has been building Harley's since before I was born, so natrually I went down the same path and helped him out. I helped maintain our family cars cause we didn't really have the money to pay someone else so I was forced to learn real fast. Anyways, I moved on to help my friends repair and customize their own cars. I've been into rods and customs since my parents took me to my first cruise in at about 5 years old. I don't have a custom right now, but my daily driver is a 94 mustang that I've done some work to. Last spring I fabricated my own exhaust system that exits through the center of the rear bumper. Hopefully once I graduate and have a job I'll have some funds to start working on my own custom.

I'm moving up to detroit in july, but i'll be in cleveland until then, so if anyone on here is from either of those areas and you need a hand, let me know. I can't ever p*** up a good opportunity to wrench.

Do they actually weld on new cars? I thought they were just stamped out as a unit and then install balloons to make the kids happy! Regardless, welcome.

Welcome from central Ohio. FYI - Might be to much of a drive, but there is a gathering at Quaker Steak & Lube on Feb 12. It is right off 71 at the Polaris exit (the one just north of I270), so you don't have to drive into Columbus.
