Hi everybody, May I introduce myself : I'm Clod, 40 years old male from France (leaving in the south west, Limousin county), maried and three children. I'm a teatre administrator. I met hot-Rod and Kustoms in the late '80, reading specialized french magazines. I'm not yet an happy holder of a rod or a kustom, just tipicals little size french cars : Citroen 2cv and Ami 6. -The 2cv has been introduce in 1949 in France and the Ami 6 in 1961. My 2cv is a 1987 model and my ami 6 a 1966. Both are twin cylinders engined, about 30 H.P ... Those are my old cars, I bought a famous american minivan for cruising with my family (a Dodge Caravan, badged Chrysler Voyager in France) . I wonder I'll make aceptable custom cars with them one day, but I have to learn more first. Sure that when I'll be able to built a car, I'll build an Hot-Rod !! Well, I don't think I'll talk a lot. I'm here just to see, read, learn, and improve my english ! A bientôt !

Bonjour! Welcome from the West side of the US. Funny that you should introduce yourself today; just this morning I went to look at an old Citroen which I will have to move next week. Over here they call that body style "traction avant"; I've been told that means "front wheel drive". The other name I've heard this car called is something like leguerre. Unfortunately, it's right-hand drive, and missing some steering parts; all the other citroens around here are all left-hand drive. Anyway, welcome to the HAMB; you'll find a lot of cool stuff here! -bill
