Yo, I'm Jax I'm new to H.A.M.B. and to the Tucson area, I came here from Hawaii after a 7yr stay in the Aloha State. Before that I was in a small town in S. Colo. I have been into Hot Rods all my life, I have had a bunch, the main ones were a '37 Ford Vicky a '31 ford roadster both 265ci Chevy powered with 3-2s. I now drive a '42 chevy p/u that I have had for and driven most of 33yrs. I have taken it to Hawaii twice. I'm a poor boy and most every thing on my truck came from the junk yard. The pacer front suspension came out of an arroyo in northern AZ. The engine and trans from a '78 GMC that I payed off and then stripped. I'v over hauled this engine Three times and it is the third engine that I have had in it, I have put over 3/4 million miles on it. I do Nastalgia Drag Racing with a friend that I was partners with in the 60's we won the '68 nationals for our class, A/FA, at Green Vally Raceway in TX. 180 in 8.5sec. I'm looking for cruzers in the Tucson area.

Welcome to the board you can usually go to little anthony's when they have thier cruise night. You can also stop by the old ford store and get info on most crusie nights around. watch here also for the updates on show here in az. Their is a really good show coming up in sept in down town.
