Hi, my name is Thomas, I'm from the Cincinnati area... Seen some of the cars that members of this forum have built at some shows and in magazines and love hot rods. I'm currently finishing up a 27 Tudor build, I only farmed out having the sending unit mount welded into the aluminum tank and getting the rear drums blasted... It's not the most period correct but I built it how I wanted to and so that I could drive it across country when I want to. Pedal Assembly Installed Next Project Just wanted to give an introduction, Thomas
Welcome from Indy. Dig your car. Maybe it will be done in time for Goodguys in Indy? Even if the show isn't your deal, the shop open houses and other stuff is worth the trip.
Thank you guys for the compliments and welcomes! There is nothing much more fun than working on these old cars and yes I do plan to drive this thing everywhere... Scotty, it's nice to know there are some local peope on this site. When is that car show and swap meet in Hamilton? Tommy, yes I do like the goodguys shows, I like most all cars... It would be great to be able to go to the new show in Indy and hopefully it will be possible this year! Was it a pretty good one last year? Thomas
Welcome from the Colerain area. If you are referring to Cincy Street Rods' Rod Run at the Butler County Fairgrounds, it's May 20th with the Cruise In the night before.
Thanks Mike! Slim, yep that would be the show. Went last year and got some cool old rod and custom mags and saw some cool cars too, unfortunately the show was rained out. Nice Avatar is that a 60?
Yep, that's my '60 If you make it to Cincy's show, I'm usually working the pop booth and I'll be parked nearby
