So, I relocated from Los Angeles, to Denver. I figure since I had to leave my poor piece of metal back in California, that I'd get my fix for the love of old metal by registering with the HAMB. So far I'm stoked on the site. It's been a huge help. My love of cars dates back to pictures of an age when I was too young to remember. At the time, I was the youngest kid in the county driving the oldest car in Highschool (47 Ford Coupe),...but later had to give it up to a number of other means of transportation over the years that all lead up to my current addiction (53 Merc 2dr sedan). I guess I didn't want to betray my Ford roots. So, being that I'm apart from my tetnus inflicting machine, I guess I can put my time towards finding any leads to parts that I've been scrounging after to get my ride to just scrape by DMV. Welcome to Denver, you've been here now a few months. Have you got your car running yet? A great parts source in town is Sams Vintage Ford Parts on 53rd and Washington St. Let me know when you want to go, I'm always up for a trip to Sams!
