So I finally quit lurking and decided to post an intro. I have enjoyed this site for several years. I grew up in middle GA and now live in coastal GA. My Dad taught my three brothers and I about cars and helped fuel our interest in old hot rods. I have built a couple of cars and have been involved with VWs for a long time but have always wanted a traditional hot rod. Just bought my first flathead!! I found a '49 F1 ch***is complete w/ engine, trans, brakes, steering box etc. I am planning an AV8 similar to some of the cars I have seen on here. Just got the motor running yesterday and I'm stoked. Thanks for all of the technical advice that is available on the HAMB!
