I've been lurking for a while, but decided to post up. I'm a car guy from Hawaii by the way of Texas. Right now I've got two muscle car projects going (68 Mustang Fastback and 67 Camaro SS), and I'm helping with a friend's 59 Chevy Apache (in my avatar) but as soon as the Camaro is done I'm looking for a 48-54 Chevy truck for my wife. Something along the lines of this:

And eventually I want to build a 32 Ford Sedan with similar build style to this:

I apologize for stealing pics if these are your rides, but they are some of the closest to my visions for what I'd like to have.
I'm probably moving back to the mainland in a year or two and that's when I'll start looking for the truck. Momma wants black. I like that idea. Anyway, I hope to keep getting good ideas from you guys and maybe even talk story a little bit.

Yeah, unfortunately one of my current projects has been more of a nightmare. It's one snag after another. The biggest being my original motor is stuck in legal BS at a machine shop. The owner died and his kids are fighting over the shop. I ended up buying a crate motor. But I should be on the road by summertime.

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up. I recognize some of the cars on there. I've been to 808 Speed as well. They did the suspension on the truck in my avatar.

No problem. I remember seeing that truck at Marty's too. Good luck with your projects and hope you get into a 32 Sedan sooner than later.

    Aloha,
