Hi all, My interest goes back to my High School days in Virginia, when you could drive at 16. My best buddy's Dad owned a repair shop and all his boys worked there. I bought the cars and we souped them. First a '31 Model A Briggs body four door sedan, then a '29 Model A roadster, followed by a '40 Ford business coupe...the last project was putting a ported, polished and milled '57 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser engine in my "sweet" '54 Ford two door...that I drove to California in 1961...it won at Lyons...and was traded-in late that same year for the Vette shown with me in the Avatar the day it was purchased. That Vette is a DUNTOV car today. If you are interested in what it was like to drive a Vette in Southern California in the 1960s try these first hand accounts: http://www.amazon.com/Bill-Ogden/e/B001HCYPYC This is such a great site. I'm glad to be here. Bill
