Hi from Dennis, I'm an old fart a product of the fiftys, retired now and still loving cars. In the late 60's I aquired a 31 ford basket case. I hauled it home and my wife said, "you paid $150 dollars for WHAT!" I did the chassis first, then got the engine unstuck, then started on the body. My wife later remarked that that car was better than another women, at least he's out in the garage. After another year she remarked that maybe another women would have been better, "I can compete with another women, but not with that car" After 7 years I sold that car and bought a fairly clean '70 Dodge Convert which my sons and I restored. They got the car bug as well as one has a '66 Corvair and his brother has a '67 or so Jaguar MarkII sedan sitting in his garage. I'd love to put that one on a pickup frame but now I live in a townhouse and its tough to take on another big project. My current Antique is a 49 Dodge Pilothouse Pickup which will remain pretty much stock. http://www.pantownclassics.com/images/showroom/49dodge/49dodge.html My thinking project is my current 2000 Ford Ranger Pickup. I'm thinking about replacing the dog of a 3.0 engine with something with a tad of go and I'd like to change the front end to a '52 - 55 F1. Hood, Fenders, Grill all as a one piece forward tilt. So much for an introduction, learned about this group from the P15-D24 Plymouth/Dodge car guys. Dennis

Hello Dennis. Welcome. As you may know, several other P15-D24 guys (including me) visit here as well. Lotsa interesting stuff always going on. My 47 Plym convert is basically stock, but I made a couple runs down the strip at the HAMB drags summer before last here in Joplin, MO. That was fun. Have met some good folks. Enjoy...... Bob
