Hi all, I'm a newbie from Union Missouri. I started out Dragin around 1960 (I was 17), on a little track in Pacific, Missouri (now its the main street of a subdivision), with a 53 Ford 4 door Fordomatic trans, we milled the heads .050, drilled the jets a little, packed ice around the carb and took the belts off. It was a screener I believe the best time was around the mid 9's .... Oh yea the track was a 1/8 mile.. I almost forgot we put the torch to the front springs to make it look cool. Then came the wife and kids so there went the racing... Mama said! Anyway now I'm retired my grandson is interested in cars so we are tossing around building a HA/GR. I have a bone stock Flathead 239, 3 speed ******, bango rear and a lot of time on my hands.. Once again - Hello Everyone
