I've always been fascinated with hot rods as a kid. Well I finally had my chance last month to become an owner of a 1949 Packard with a 455 Olds. It is an awesome feeling sitting in the seat of this thing. I know enough about cars to do minor repairs and keep things running but I don't know much about rebuilds of old cars. I hope this new addition will get me motivated to learn as much as I can and maybe one day be able to do all the restore myself.

Damn, it seems everyone new that pops up on here from NC is in Raliegh! Maybe we'll run into each other some time when I'm up there visiting my in-laws....
