Hi Guy! I'm glad to find you all. Hope we can hev some fun and interesting conversations about cars. I'll be seeing you around on the different Forums. Take Care, Ty O'Neal
Welcome from Maryland! How nice is that 65 Buick? They are sharp and ran great too for a heavy car...........
====================== Dirty John: We're practically neighbors. I'm up in Frisco. Maybe we can see each others rides sometime. What does your "T" have in it? That is also a car I would love to have one of Buicks best in. (Blown 401) Having the enclosed cab would be perfect. Take care, Ty
======================= Ah, Mi Amigo! Thanks for the friendship. My "65" is a two owner, with my Grandfather being the first. The interior is cherry, I have the sales papers for it plus the maiklage calculations for most of it 55,000 miles, among other things. It does need a Paint Job, and I need to get 40 years of door dings removed. But overall, I was very fortunite to be able to get it. He could have sold it a Dozen times. I'll get a first class paint job on it, and get the body cleaned up. We didn't have much in our family, but that car was something I always begged them to keep. As I said between the car, and the Memories I had in that car as a small kid while my Grandmother raced from Light to Light, I wouldn't trade for anything. It's Blk/Blk, 425 ST400, Wood Wheel, Posi etc. It has a 4 Barrel on it, but I also found a 2X4 set up for it when I cleaned out the garage. I'm hopeing with a bit of research, I can find out how many others were made like this one. Take care and thaks for the post. Ty
Rolaz: Great, you officially make three close people. Now I am surrounded. There are many things worse than being surrounded by Gearheads. Ty
Guten Tag! (Sorry, I don't know any Dutch. That I remember it's been awhile.) Where in Holland do you call home? What car(s) are in your Stable? I haven't been to the Netherlands in many years. Went there several times and have some friends in Rotterdam. It is a beautiful Country. Thank you for the greeting. Ty
