I've been restoring a '41 Dodge 1 1/2 ton truck for a few years, and have a '70 442 I like to take to cruises. I just bought a barn fresh '29 Model A pickup. This is a new sort of project for me. I plan to rat rod it, with a Flathead V8. I'm here to gain knowledge and share my experiences with folks who really know this stuff.
Welcome to the HAMB. It is a great place to learn and also to educate. Let me help you out just a bit. Rats are a no no around here. Yes there are many here that have diverse likes and rides. Just don't step out on the rat ledge very far. Now don't let that discourage you. Although I know my boundries here I still love the place.

Rat rod may be the wrong term here. This is my wifes pickup, and she wants to leave it pretty much looking like it is, with stock running gear, almost no paint, but a nice Ford or Merc flathead V8.
