    Well, here goes…

Been building traditional cars since I was a teenager. I’m in my mid-30’s now. When I was a kid, all the older guys couldn’t understand why I used to grab up all that early speed equipment when nobody wanted it. I didn't understand why they didn't understand! While everyone else was latching on to the pro-street craze and pastel colors, I was building ‘60’s style g***ers, muscle cars and ‘50’s customs. The ones that still have my attention are the mid to late ‘60’s g***ers, a period in history when they were the baddest racecars on earth! Anyway, being really into the traditional stuff, and still building traditional cars, I’m sometimes in need of a cool old skuzzy part from the past, and might be able to help someone locate one too. Thought this might be a cool site, and possibly helpful on some of my projects. I tend to spend more time in the garage than on the computer, so I don’t lurk much, and post even less.

I'm near Macungie. Here's a shot of my '36. It's got a 413 Chrysler in it. Got a host of other cars, and projects.

    Thanks for the welcome.

Wish I could! Thanx for the sharp eye, I should have gotten out of my chair to check the calendar first. Fixed the post, too.

What he failed to mention was he owns a famous G***er. He so modest. Welcome Ken. I won't bust your balls that often. I'm sure you and Conder will get along.

Welcome to the HAMB. For you gentlemen stuck out west in Boyd's country,Macungie is in the middle of a hotrod state. Queen's Automotive has built some reall nice cars and Harry's U-Pull It is not too far away and is worth a trip just for the name. :)

    Well...

When you get that "Famous G***er" performing up to the "Pirrone" standard, then I'll be impressed...

What is the name of the g***er? The "Macungie Mutt"???

By the way... Welcome Ken... :D

Well....beings I've been called to perform to those standards...consider it a challenge met! I just pulled three plug wires, and now we'll be evenly matched! Unless...I have to pull another plug wire, but that can be done at the track!

Thanks for the welcome! (and the challenge!)

Well...I don't know about the homo part...but the 413 that is in there currently is just a sick pup I had laying around. I popped that in after I hurt the wrist pin in the 440 that was in it. The 413 has a 500" lift hydraulic cam, high volume oil pump, and a Torquer 2 with a 850. The motor is a 65K mile small valve weakling. As far as the ch***is goes, its got buggy springs front and rear, '57 Olds rear, long ladders, split wishbone '39 Ford axle up front. In the pic I posted from Atco Raceway the car had a single quad, flat tappet, pump gas 440 that would run 10.90 @ 122, and I used to chase parts with it or go for a gallon of milk. It was a real fun car that you could take an hour and a half ride in. That 440 lasted for seven years and a lot of miles, and believe me, every time I took that car out it was a drag race! I didn't show it a lot of mercy! I have a 440 with Hillborn injectors sitting in the garage, just lookin' for a victim. The '36 will probably rock and roll again soon. Right now she's probably about a 12 second unit. That injected 440 would probably put that heavy sled solidly in the single digits. Hmmm....
