Hey, found this forum last night searching for tech tips.
I am going to be buying a 54 210 this weekend and can use all the help i can get.
I've been working on cars for only 5 years or so, i recently graduated collage for automotive repair and I'm working at a Saturn dealer now. Cause obviously Saturns and hot rods are like butter and bread.
Anyway Ive owned a 67 caprice for about 4 years and it was really what got me into cars in the first place. I had to beg for the guy to sell it to me for 3 years. I haven't done anything worth while to it just put an engine in and kept it running well.
Ive been wanting something older and cooler that i could at least try to "hot rod". Only problems i see so far are i don't own a welder and cant weld. but i figure on fixing at least one of those problems soon.
Anyway sorry this is so dragged out.

I think I only drove it like 3 times in two years, the first time it was still blue. It was always broken, haha.

I did ride this quite a bit though.

yea it seems to be pretty solid with the exception of the floors. I have all the chrome/bumpers/random crap too. And the guy gave me a set of motor mounts. and said i can com back and get a rear end. But i think its too long to use. its from a 1500 or something. i have a buddy at work who said he has a 9 inch he will sell me but that's from a truck as well and is prolly too long. I think i need to figure out a rear end and get that set up first since its most likely going to be the hardest thing to do and piss me off the most.
