Hey! Just joined so I could tap into the wealth of info and parts for vintage hot rods. I do design work for Chrysler. I also worked for many years at Ford doing illustration. I have a large collection of vintage and custom bicycles. My daily driver is a 2003 Corvette Zo6 with some mods. I recently picked up a 30-31 model a tudor body. It is really rough and will need nearly everything reworked. I have a stroker chevy small block (383) for it. Other plans call for chopping and channeling it over a Total performance chassis. A modest roll cage. Black with either drk green or copper paint. Artillary wheels (when not at the drags). I plan on replacing the interior wood with maple covered with a clear polyurethane. Porsche speedster or spyder seats and a wood Nardi style steering wheel. Cheers, Dave
Welcome aboard. If you are like most of us, it will be interesting to see how many times this well engineered project will change during the build. Won't seem natural otherwise............ Have fun!
