Getting back after 10 years in limbo. Been building since 63. Yeah Im old, but young at heart. I live in Idaho Falls. Built street cars and race cars, but love home built rods and Altereds. Expressing yourself thru your ride is what is all about for me. I am a Machinist, been doing it for 35 years. I have a small shop in the back yard where I unwind (therapy shack) after a weeks work. I have a radio on the work bench playing 60's and 70's rock n roll music. Kids are raised and gone, youngest son is a motorhead but he and his wife have moved to Utah. So I basically have the shop to myself. My present build is a 1946 Diamond T cab on a homebuilt frame. Im running a mild BB Chevy motor with homebuilt mechanical fuel injection (Methanol). I hope to race at Fire Bird in Boise and Rocky Mountain Raceway in Salt Lake. I am already thinking about my next car. I really would like to build a radical looking low profile Rat Rod for the street and long distance cruising. LIFE IS GOOD! Woody
Welcome aboard Woody. That's one wild looking truck. I just got home from Sandpoint, ID. Lots of good tin still visable from the road in your state. What's up with that? Are their prices to high or are you guys just lucky to have an abundance.
Lefty: Most of the early cars are gone from this area, however there are still trucks and pickups everywhere. I don't know about you but early trucks make for some wild rides. Woody
Welcome to H.A.M.B. Woody. Keep updating us with photo's on your truck. It looks like it is going to be very cool.
