Hey everyone. I am new to the forum scene. Been lurking a little, but figured it is time to spread my passion for the custom vehicle world. Why I say vehicle is that I own a custom motorcycle shop (Savage Cycles). We build some pretty wild machines and everything is done in house, me doing all the body, paint and airbrush work. We have been pretty successful, thank God.I have been out of the car scene for around 8 years because of the business, but recently got a major itch to build something. So I purchased a 39 Ford truck cab and my project started. My wife thinks I am nuts but it keeps my sanity getting away from the business at night. But this is how the bike shop got started (oh no!!) Anyway I built a z'd frame out of 2x4 tubing, built my own hairpins and 4 bar rear set up. Chopped the heck out of the cab, my first one I have done. Had help from a good friend who is pretty slick with metal. Got a 289 with a single 4 tunnel ram backed by a 3 speed. Ford 9 inch with 3.50's , rader wheels with big white walls. Just ordered a set of cheaters for the rear. The thing is coming together really well and is pretty mean looking. I will start a build thread when I figure this posting thing out. Hope I didn't bore you all. Thanks for reading.
