Hi guys this is Thomas from Canada I have a question about the cost of installing a new front clip on my 1953 chevy 210. I have been looking at installing a new front clip down the road on my ride. I've been looking at both Heidt's and Fat man fabrication mustang 2 clips. Price wise they are pretty similar. just curious on peoples feelings about about the quality from both companies, but more importantly was should I expect to pay to get either one installed on my ride minus the cost of alignment. I know it won't be cheap but it would be great to get a rough idea what ill pay up here t get it installed. thanks and have a good day

  2. I've heard more complaints about fatman products in general over the years if that helps.

I have installed a few of these . Fat Man’s is good stuff , only issue is : you need to be a good welder to install in a Chevrolet . The frame is thin , fat man’s stuff is thick material . Easy to blow a hole through the Old Chebbie frame if one isn’t ready .

This is a traditional hot rod forum. Pinto independent front suspension is strictly off topic here… try posting your question in the off topic forum
