So im in a bit of a delema. I ordered a new tank from tanks Inc and took the car to the auto hobby shop on base. Dropped the old tank. The new tank was bigger than the original, and the hoses it came with and gaskets didn't fit along with the fittings. So now I'm paying to keep the car over there. Any ideas? I don't know much about fuel cells but waiting around for another stock tank to get here in 2 weeks isnt much of an option

Why a fuel cell and not a original tank?

At this point just mount it in the trunk,it's never going to fit in the original location. HRP

i knew a guy who "temporarily" ran a portable boat fuel tank in the trunk, [for two years], till he found a tank.

I have used several Tanks gas tanks and all fit perfectly. Sure you are not overlooking something?

  6. Just use 2 gal gas can in the trunk with a rubber hose to move the car till you get this sorted out. Stop paying storage.

I got the impression that he thought it should fit the same. If it is a universal, then???
