Wow, WTF ? ! Your axle is a beast to take that more than a few times. THAT IS A BAD ASS picture man. Wicked ride. What the hell is in that thing? Besides a man with fingers digging into his wheel, and his ass puckering tight......screaming YEEEEEEEHHHAAAAA !!!!!! Fantastic welds brother, beautiful work.

 

For the guys that need a little more ass in there axle.....

Thats nice but are you going to do any work to the ones that are already "bossed"? For the amount of work you do to make your axles bullet proof you gonna trust them?

 

I get a lot of guys asking for dropped axles. I will still make my HD axles for all the guys that what something stronger.
I still have to do some playing around but I should be able to get my ends in the 2-3" dropped axles and I am plaining on add a flagged boss to all the others so they will still be stronger then any thing you can buy out of a catalog.

Little up date....
I got some flagged Bosses in the dropped Tubes and if you guys are using odd ball spring in you cars I can make up custom spring pads for your needs

Do I see two kingpin retaining set screws? Good, one just isn't enough..

 

3/8-24 set screws ( I recommend Loctite on the set screws)

 

4" drop flagged king pin boss. All steels made here in the USA

I used one of Bill's axles, (a narrow version) when building this Bonneville car last year, it worked out great !
