    Hello Brother Guthrie.

Is the GMC color a Turquoise?
    or Seafoam Green?
I'm just guessing the colors above. I like that area you spit shined, I can't wait to see the GMC with a complete spit shine.
Inquiring minds would like to know the RPO Paint Code.
Can you take a picture of your RPO Build Code/Paint Code to share with us all when you get a time please.
You have a great looking GMC Long Box Fleetside, it's giving me some more thought about keeping my Red&White 63 C10 Long Box Fleetside and work at getting it back on the road.
Thank you for sharing another one of your blessings with us all here in HAMB Land my friend.

Keep On Trucking Brother Guthrie and family.

Stay safe and God bless y'all...

Looks like Chevy's 1987 Differential is 1-1/2" wider than the 1960-1966 Chevy/GMC Pickup Truck's Differential.
I'm still reading, so someone else probably already mentioned the width difference?

Brother Guthrie, what type of Differential does your GMC have under it?
Some I've seen have a Dana ##? Some have the GM Lite 12 bolt with 19 count Axle Spline?
I was told by Squirrel that the Dana Brake Drums are no longer made?
Squirrel said folks are making the Brake Drums from other GM Differential work by re-drilling the stud holes in the GM Brake Drums so as to work on the Dana Differential Axles?
I'm sure you have ran into this before and had no problem making do in the past.

It was in 1962 that the C10 Hood was changed to the lower sloped cool looking hood with Square Parking Lites, this new lower sloped hood was then used up to 1966 in C10's.
1960 & 61 had the Big Pods or Bug Eye's for their hoods, the Inserts changed, one having an plus ➕️ shaped metal inner filler, while the other had a different filler and Parking Lites Color, one was White the other Inner Parking Lites were Yellow.
The GMC 1962-66 had a very unique Hood, it sloped down like the C10's, but the upper Air Inlet holes on the hood are bigger and on a slant on the outside edges, the Parking Lites on the GMC are also different than the Square type Parking Lites of the C10 1962-66, The GMC Hood and Parking Lites have a Cool looking up sweeping on the inside bottom edge of the Parking Lites, that Curve is followed through with the Inner part of the Hoods Air Intake Hole on both side's near the inside were the Parking Lites mount. Here are pictures of the 1960 1961 1962 C10's Hoods.
Then picture of a 1962-66 GMC Hood, the nice cool looking Blue Truck. 44201.jpeg 44203.jpeg 44205.jpeg 44207.jpeg GMC 1962-66 Hood.
    Hope this helps someone?
