Owned 5, 32 Ford street rods from coupes to 5 windows to roadsters. Retired businessman, enjoy rebuilding rod projects and showing them. I'm 80, act like 18 in my Harley Davidson black coupe! First car at 14 was a '42 Willys cope with 35,000 miles and paid $35 for it. Redone every Willys except the Jeep. Eventually went with my first love, the deuce. The favorite was the 5 window, not chopped (yea), steel high boy that was done 50's style, drove it for 12 years and only replaced tires and Vega steering box. It ran a d 350 w/a mild can 600 Edelbrock cab with, 700R tranny with 3:50 gears and sorry I sold it, but a guy offered me enough to buy 2 more deuces, when he drove away, I could not look
She was so dependable, and each spring it came to life in a few seconds.
