Hello all. Glad to find a board like this. Growing up around cars I have always been intrested in the custom scene. I have been looking for a car to start on for almost 2 years now and finally found one...or two. The 4 door I believe is a a '52 pontiac (will find out 100% in a couple of days when it is at my house) and I am still trying to figure out what year the 2 door is. $500 for both is not that bad considering. Thinking of keeping this simple by getting all the chrome redone , skirts, shaved handles, suicide rear doors, and some nice white walls and rims, air bag suspension, followed up by flat black paint. It still has the inline 6 and considering gas prices I might be trying to get that running and look at some upgrades to the engine. As for this one...I think it maybe to far gone. Will take suggestions though.
Welcome aboard from a fellow Canadian! I like your project car. I'm no expert on this, but if you have no ownership papers for the car at least I hope you have the VIN # plate on the door frame or somewhere on it... May be hard to regester/license otherwise. Myself, I would leave the 4-door near stock (leave the doors as is). mild customize, lower a bit, chrome wheels/baby moons, nice paint, keep the stock 6-mild hop up/paint/add chrome parts on it, and your cruising...have fun!!!
