I have been lurking here for about 6 months after hearing about it from another member.

A quick background check; I work in a motorcycle shop, but cars were my first p***ion. Most recently I had a 30 model A sedan project, but sold it and bought a '53 F-100. I may be ******ing up a '50 Ford 2dr real soon as well. I am more of a machinist than anything, but I have done a lot of sheetmetal work as well.

I am in a club, Throttle Junkies, which is car/bike club with members in MO, IL, and MI. Low key, very few rules, just about being a gearhead. We are working on putting together a FED for next year with a sbc and powerglide. El cheapo, and fun as hell.

I look forward to helping as much as I can, although my experience is primarily in fabrication, not as much in 'what fits what' type of stuff.

I am trying to include a few pics of my truck, which is my first chop. I am going for a traditional look, but with a bbf. Painted steel wheels with original chrome caps, steel interior, and maybe someday a decent paintjob from fellow club member Darren from Liquid Illusions in STL. I took 2 1/2 out of the back, and 3 1/2 out of the front. The corners and posts are back together, and tonight we are going to start lining the roof lines back up. I am trying to do this with as few cuts as possible, and so far all we have done is quarter the top and chop the corners and posts. I didn't want to lay back the posts, because I love the look and angle of the front gl*** on a stock F-100, except shorter. I am 6'6", and as you can see from the pics, this chop is perfect for my height. My 5 yr old boy is helping me and LOVES it!

That's all from me. Don't expect a ton of posts from me, because if I don't have any helpful comments, I probably won't post just for the sake of posting.

Later all, and any/all comments and criticism is welcomed.

I know some of the bombers guys. I will be in NYC that weekend for another get together. Wish I could do both.

Thanks for the heads up though.
