new guy from florida

hi new guy here just wanted to introduce myself.im 29 ive had a love for hot rods all my life.well since about five anyway.i had a friend tell me about this site and i just cant say how much i have learned just by reading some of these threads.wish i would have found it sooner.well i have a 30 ford coupe i picked up about 4 years ago. dont laugh but its not finished.a few weeks after i got it i found out my wife was pregnant and that may have set me back a little.but now im making some progress on it i had to replace the sub frame. it was bent and all the patch panels and the bottom 5 inchs of the trunk lid.i have it sitting on a new frame and have a 46 banjo rearend with allmost enough font axle parts to have aroller.boy will that be a milestone there.just picked up a331 hemi not long ago and im tring tomake a50s style rod out of it.well thats alittle about me. im just glad to be here

 

Welcome to the HAMB, glad you decided to join us. Nothing to laugh at, lot of people are still working on their cars and they have had them for longer than 4 years. Good things take time, and time is a precious commodity that many of us oldsters are quickly running out of. I believe that you will find a number of members here from your area. I have relatives in Florida and hope to retire there one day. Probably will move to the Dade City or Tampa area, which is were the most of the friends and relatives are.
