My name is Dave, I'm an old fart that's firmly embedded in my 3rd childhood. Always been a car nut....get a bigger kick out of building than actually driving the old iron.....have always been a Ford person but also have a 54 Chevy pickup with a tricked out 235....just recently got a 40 2 dr Sedan and am thinking about building a traditional 50's rat type rod as opposed to a "show" car. The 40's running a 57-283 which has been "barned" for 32 years so I'll need some advice about repowering. Seems kind of strange being the "new kid on the block"....but I think you folks may be able to add some info to my old "bag of tricks."
