I'm 34 and been sitting back absorbing the knowledge here for some time now. Have also seen a lot of killer rides. Found out about the HAMB when I stopped to look at a 51 Chevy for sale in Suwanee/Sugar Hill, GA a while back. Guy that had the car for sale also told me about a dude named Brad (Brad54) that was just putting together a 1st of every month swap up at Lanier Speedway. Haven't been yet, but plan to real soon and hopefully meet some of you fellas. In the past, I bought into the philosophy of "restore 'em as Henry built them." However, I've now turned the corner and realized I should build them the way I want them, not the way Henry would want them. Most of my cars are originals or restored originals. Probably won't make any mods to them now (may lower the Cosmo, warm the 337, add a visor and lake pipes). Am saving my pennies for a '31 Model A Sedan project that I'd like to chop and drop in a warmed-up flattie. Cosmo Merc Probably won't have a lot to contribute right now as the project is not yet a reality, but I'll continue to listen to ideas and suggestions you folks have to offer. Don't know how to post pics yet. Have some on my computer, but don't know how to shrink to fit.
Hello and welcome from another georgia guy... hopeing that after the holidays to have a meet and greet with the area people
if nothing else, brad will post about the swap the week prior, it's usually a 'semi-informal' hamb gathering...

Cool! Welcome; I feel like I've met a new friend (or will soon). This is the only board that I frequent that has several members in Ga. (& close like S.C.), even if we are somewhat*****tered. ~ Paul aka "Tha Driver" Giggle Cream - it makes dessert *funny*!
