I have been looking at this board for a while and decided to join, I have a 51 F1 I am building (SBC MII frontend and a 9" I shortened in the shop) I am an Autoshop instructor and I also have a ch***is fab shop on the side. We do mostly Drag cars but in the last few years I have gotten into building street rod stuff. I gave up dragracing this year after selling my 99 Mullis dragster and trailer (it ran 7.90s at 170 MPH) but with the price of fuel and entry fees going up and the payout staying the same for the past 10 years it was time for me to get out while I could. I also have a 97 Harley softail custom I ride when time allows. Anyway I hope I can make myself useful around here. Mike

I go about once a month, do you know Clem the guy that has the 911 with the LS1 in it? I have known him and a few of the other regulars over there for years. I have been riding my Harley when I go till have the 51 done I hope to have it finished in about a year or so, check out the link in my sig. to the pictures it is getting there.
