I've loved hot rods since I was a teenager. Back in the 60's when I was in high school I used to race a '55 Chevy at The Woodburn Dragstrip, it ran K/S and I always ended up racing a guy named Ted Rhode, he ran an Oldsmobile and was pretty hard to beat. The gasses were there, Stone-Woods&Cook, Coonrod&Harry and others plus the slingshots like the Northwind, Bevs Steakhouse. I have a 37 chev that I used to race at the nostalgia drags but it's retired from racing and now I've made it street legal.
