I grew up loving and learning about cars from my father (he's now building a '51 Henry J gasser with a Caddy 500) and just recently I've begun customizing a '51 Lincoln Cosmopolitan with much help from my friend Steve Wilson (actually more like I'm helping him). We're chopping, shaving, slamming and a bunch of other cool stuff. I like originality and cars that piss off people who take themselves too seriously. I must say however, I prefer subtlety and great style to ridiculousness just for the sake of it. And it has to be fast. A vehicle is pointless if it can't get out of it's own way. I have no brand loyalties, I hate fads, and I love to drive. Cars should always be driven. Looking is nice, but they have wheels for a very important reason--MOTION! I lean towards 50s cars as far as favorite styles go, but I can enjoy anything if it's cool. Steve showed me this board, and I can't wait to pick everyone's brain about wacky problems we encounter and share any info I can (not likely I'll be able to tell you anything you don't know, but if I can, I will).
